Private / Semi-Private Lesson Signup https://www.signupgenius.com/go/508044AAEAA2DA0FB6-49607105-boxtheatre Performance lessons allow our students to work one-on-one with our theatre mentors focusing on any area of the dramatic arts that the student would like to learn and improve upon. While a private lesson is highly suggested for preparation of an upcoming audition, lessons are also offered to help accelerate all theatrical skills including character work, vocal technique, dance and more. In order to receive the full benefit of a 30 to 40 minute session, the mentors tailor each lesson to the students needs and assist in whatever approach fits the student’s learning style. Voice & Acting lessons (30 minutes) are $30* and are taught by Box Theatre Artistic Director, Allison Chicorel Dance lessons (40 minutes) are $40* and are taught by Box Theatre Education Director, Clayton Irwin. Semi-Private lessons are also offered at an additional $10 per student with a maximum of 3 students per session. Lessons are available for students age 8 – 17 during January through May and September through November. *Audition preps only during December, June, July and August. Allison’s private and semi private lesson schedule is Mondays, Tuesdays & Thursdays from 3:00 to 4:30. Weekends are available upon request for Audition Preps only. Regular private lessons available upon request 9am to 3pm for homeschool students. Allison offers private theatre lessons focusing on voice, music and acting. Allison also offers private dance lessons if Clayton’s timeframes for dance lessons do not work with the student’s schedule. Clayton teaches various genres of theatre dance as well as tap. Clayton’s lessons are choreography based which means students usually leave their lesson having learned a whole new dance to practice at home.
