We have added one more junior event to our 2017 season! We don’t want to make Halloween feel left out so along with our Junior Christmas Cabaret…We will also have a Junior Halloween Cabaret! We hope to see you at auditions on September 9th!

It’s Halloween! Let’s give our Broadway bad guys their moment to shine!

The New Theatre on Main (Soon to be: The Box Theatre Co.) brings you an evening of songs and scenes of Broadway villains portrayed by a group of junior talents age 8 to 17. Singers put together a simple, yet very entertaining, cabaret within a short rehearsal and workshop process with some character studies focusing on “the bad guys.”

Audition Date: Saturday September 9 from 12:00-3:15

Please Note: There is a $20 education fee for those who are cast. (There is no fee to audition)

IMPORTANT: If you have not performed in a show at New Theatre On Main please bring a photo of yourself to turn in with your audition sheet.

Rehearsals:
Monday October 9th from 6:00 to 8:00 (full cast)
Monday October 16th from 6:00-8:00 (full cast)
Monday October 23rd from 6:00 to 8:00 (full cast)

Performance Date: Friday October 27 @ 7:00pm (one night only!)

Looking to cast 15 to 20 performers.
Age 8 to 17 are eligible to audition.

Those auditioning should prepare 30-45 seconds of any “bad guy” song of their choice. Preferably broadway villains, though disney villain songs are also acceptable to audition with.

IMPORTANT: If you have not performed in a show at New Theatre On Main please bring a photo of yourself to turn in with your audition sheet.

Please bring accompaniment of the song on a device with an Aux Cord outlet(iphone, ipod, tablet, android…etc) This should be a backing track or karaoke. Please no vocals on the tracks that you will sing with at the audition. If you would prefer to bring an accompanist and sheet music to your audition, that is allowed. There is a piano at the theatre your accompanist may use.
